Spectroscopic quadrupole moments in 124Xe

NUCLEAR REACTIONS W(124Xe, 124Xe), E=4.03, 4.11 MeV/nucleon; measured reaction products, recoil nuclei, Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin. 124Xe; deduced levels, J, π, rotational bands, transition matrix elements, B(E2), spectroscopic quadrupole moments. Coulomb excitation analysis performed with GOSIA. Data confirms that O(6) symmetry is substantially broken in 124Xe and point on prolate axially deformed nature of the ground state band. Systematic of spectroscopic quadrupole moments for Sn, Te, Xe and Ba. VAMOS++ magnetic spectrometer with AGATA g-ray tracking array at GANIL.

The decay of the 21.47-MeV stretched resonance in 13C: A precise probe of the open nuclear quantum system description

New narrow resonances observed in the unbound nucleus 15F

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 1H(14O, p), E=7.64 MeV/nucleon; 1H(14O, 2p), E=7.42 MeV/nucleon; measured reaction products Ep, Ip, Eγ, Iγ, protons angular distributions, pp-coin, γγ-coin, pγ-coin; deduced σ(θ), resonances properties of 14O+p system - energy, spin and width, spectroscopic factors, major amplitudes of channels. 15F; deduced levels, J, π, configurations. Data has been analyzed and interpreted in the framework of the Gamow shell model (GSM) with the coupled-channel representation (GSMCC). Beam provided by SPIRAL1 facility (GANIL). Detectors: MUST2 (telescope composed of DSSD and CsI array) for (14O, p) reaction and MUGAST array (MUST2+VAMOS magnetic spectrometer+AGATA HPGE-array).

Evidence for spherical-oblate shape coexistence in 87Tc

Jπ, intensity ratios in different channels, configurations, spherical behavior. Comparison with shell model and total Routhian surface calculations, and with their previous results reported in 2021Li40 (Phys. Rev. C 104, L021302).

γ decay to the ground state from the excitations above the neutron threshold in the 208Pb(p, p'γ) reaction at 85 MeV

Probing isospin mixing with the giant dipole resonance in the 60Zn compound nucleus

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 32Si(28Si, X)60Zn*, E=86, 110 MeV; 32Si(30Si, X)62Zn*, E=75, 98 MeV; measured high-energy Eγ, Iγ using GALILEO array of 25 HPGe detectors and ten LaBr3(Ce) scintillators at the Tandem accelerator facility of INFN-Legnaro. 60,62Zn; deduced GDR parameters, Coulomb spreading widths, isospin mixing parameter at zero temperature and the isospin-symmetry-breaking correction for beta decay by analyzing experimental γ-spectra with statistical model calculations using a version of CASCADE code that included isospin formalism. Comparison of Coulomb spreading widths with the values for other mass regions deduced from GDR γ-decay measurements in other compound-nucleus reactions.

Comparison with data for 68Ni, and with theoretical predictions.

Compared with "pure" shell model calculation.

Four experiments carried out using 136Xe beam with 208Pb and 238U targets using PRISMA magnetic mass spectrometer and AGATA demonstrator array at Legnaro PIAVE+ALPI accelerator, 136Xe beam with 198Pt target using GAMMASPHERE and CHICO particle detector arrays at LBNL-cyclotron facility, and 11B beam with 130Te target using HORUS array at Cologne FN Tandem accelerator. 135Xe, 137Ba; deduced levels, J, π, isomers, configurations, B(E2). Comparison with shell-model calculations. Systematics of levels and isomers in N=81 nuclides 131Sn, 133Te, 135Xe, 137Ba, 139Ce, 141Nd, 143Sm and 145Gd.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 116Sn(16O, X), E=12 MeV/nucleon; measured Eγ, Iγ, Eα, Iα, light-charged particles (LCPs), evaporation residues, dynamical dipole (DD) γ-ray yield and angular distribution using GARFIELD-HECTOR apparatus at ALPI-LNL accelerator facility; deduced neutron pre-equilibrium multiplicity. Comparison of total spectra with statistical model calculations. Comparison of (DD) γ-ray yield with Boltzmann-Nordheim-Vlasov model calculations.

RADIOACTIVITY 217mBi(IT)[from 9Be(238U, X), E=1 GeV/nucleon]; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, isomer half-life by γ(t) using FRS-RISING system at UNILAC-SIS-18 accelerator facility of GSI. 217Bi; deduced levels, J, π, B(E2). Comparison with large-scale shell model calculations and structures of 211,213,215Bi.
