Sub-barrier fusion in ¹²C + ^{26, 24}Mg: Hindrance and oscillations

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹²C(²⁶Mg, X), E=25-50 MeV; measured reaction products, fusion-evaporation residues; deduced evaporation residues s(θ), fusion σ(E), S-factor, logarithmic derivatives. Comparison to experimental results obtained with the same setup for ¹²C+²⁴Mg reaction (2022MO25). Systematics of threshold energies for hindrance in light systems ¹²C+¹²C, ¹²C+¹⁶O, ¹⁶+¹⁶O, ¹²C+³⁰Si, ²⁴Mg+³⁰Si, ²⁸Si+³⁰Si, ¹⁶O+⁷⁶Ge, ²⁷Al+⁴⁵Sc. Comparison to coupled-channels calculations performed with CCFULL. XTU Tandem accelerator of the INFN-Laboratori Nazionali di Legnaro (LNL).

High-spin states in ²¹²Po above the α-decaying (18⁺) isomer

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁹Be(²³⁸U, X), E=1 GeV/nucleon; measured reaction products, isotope identification matrix, Eγ, Iγ, T_1/2 of isomers by γ(t) using RISING array of 105 Ge detectors and the FRS separator at the GSI UNILAC-SIS18 facility. ²¹²Po; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, T_1/2 of two micro-sec isomers, multipolarity, configuration, transition probabilities. ^204mTl, ^205m,206mPb, ²⁰⁷Bi, ^210m,211mPo; compiled measured isomer ratios from literature, and compared with theoretical predictions from the sharp cut-off model. Comparison with shell-model calculations.
