Nature of seniority symmetry breaking in the semimagic nucleus 94Ru

RADIOACTIVITY 95mPd(β+p)[from 9Be(124Xe, F), E=850 MeV/nucleon];measured Eγ, Iγ, Ep, Ip, γγ-coin, pγ-coin. 94Ru; deduced T1/2 of low-lying excited states, B(E2). Comparison to shell-model calculations. Ions were separated with FRS at GSI and implanted in the Advanced Implantation Detector Array (AIDA), composed of three double-sided silicon strip detectors (DSSSDs) situated at the center of the DEcay SPECtroscopy (DESPEC) setup, comprised of a hybrid array of six triple cluster high-purity germanium (HPGe) detectors and 36 LaBr3(Ce) detectors of the FAst TIMing Array (FATIMA).

First lifetime investigations of N ≥ 82 iodine isotopes: The quest for collectivity

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 238U(n, F)135I/137I/139I, E ∼ 1.7 MeV from LICORNE neutron source at the ALTO facility of IJCLab; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, level T1/2 by γγ(t) using ν-ball spectrometer of HPGe and LaBr3(Ce) detectors. 135,137,139I; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, B(E2), B(M1), B(E3), configurations; calculated occupations for the most prominent proton or neutron-proton configurations. Comparison with previous experimental data, and with large scale shell-model (LSSM) calculations using N3LOP (SM-I) and Kuo-Herling (SM-II) effective interactions. Systematics of B(E2) for yrast states of 134,136,138Te and 135,137,139I.

Half-life measurements in 164, 166Dy using γ-γ fast-timing spectroscopy with the ν-Ball spectrometer

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 164Dy(18O, 18O'), E=71, 76, 80 MeV pulsed beam; 164Dy(18O, 16O)166Dy, E=78 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, level half-lives by γγ(t) fast-timing triple coincidence method using ν-Ball with 24 HPGe clover detectors, ten coaxial HPGe detectors, and 20 LaBr3 detectors. 164,166Dy; deduced levels, J, π, B(E2), β2 and transition quadrupole moments. Comparison with values for 164Dy in the ENSDF database at NNDC.

Prompt and delayed γ spectroscopy of neutron-rich 94Kr and observation of a new isomer

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 238U(n, F), E=fast neutrons from 1H(7Li, 7Be)n, E=16 MeV; measured prompt and delayed Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, half-life of a new isomer in 94Kr using the ν-Ball array of 24 HPGe Clover detectors, 10 coaxial HPGe detectors, all with BGO Compton shielding, and 20 LaBr3 detectors at the ALTO facility of IPN-Orsay. 94Kr; deduced levels, J, π, isomer, B(E1), B(E2), ground-state band up to 10+, two-quasiparticle neutron state for the isomer consistent with Gogny CHFB calculations. Comparison with level schemes of 92Se and 96Sr.

Investigation of Low-lying States in 133Sn Populated in the β Decay of 133In Using Isomer-selective Laser Ionization

RADIOACTIVITY 133In(β-)[from ISOLDE facility, where 1.4 GeV protons are directed on uranium carbide target]; measured Eβ, Iβ, β-gated γ-ray spectra using isomer selective ionization of ISOLDE facility LDE RILIS with clear distinction between decaying gs (9/2+) and isomer (1/2-); deduced, identified γ-rays following 133In to 133Sn as βγγ coin with 513 keV transition; deduced levels, J, π participating in 133In β-decay; deduced consistency with previous results on low-lying structure in 133Sn.
