Spectroscopic quadrupole moments in 124Xe

NUCLEAR REACTIONS W(124Xe, 124Xe), E=4.03, 4.11 MeV/nucleon; measured reaction products, recoil nuclei, Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin. 124Xe; deduced levels, J, π, rotational bands, transition matrix elements, B(E2), spectroscopic quadrupole moments. Coulomb excitation analysis performed with GOSIA. Data confirms that O(6) symmetry is substantially broken in 124Xe and point on prolate axially deformed nature of the ground state band. Systematic of spectroscopic quadrupole moments for Sn, Te, Xe and Ba. VAMOS++ magnetic spectrometer with AGATA g-ray tracking array at GANIL.

New narrow resonances observed in the unbound nucleus 15F

Data has been analyzed and interpreted in the framework of the Gamow shell model (GSM) with the coupled-channel representation (GSMCC). Beam provided by SPIRAL1 facility (GANIL). Detectors: MUST2 (telescope composed of DSSD and CsI array) for (14O, p) reaction and MUGAST array (MUST2+VAMOS magnetic spectrometer+AGATA HPGE-array).

Jπ, intensity ratios in different channels, configurations, spherical behavior. Comparison with shell model and total Routhian surface calculations, and with their previous results reported in 2021Li40 (Phys. Rev. C 104, L021302).

Reinterpretation of excited states in 212Po: Shell-model multiplets rather than α-cluster states

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 12C(208Pb, 212Po)8Be, E=1187 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, (particle)γ-coin, (particle)γγ-coin, γγ(linear polarization) using 35 36-fold segmented AGATA crystals arranged in 12 triple clusters for γ detection and double-sided silicon strip detector (DSSSD) for particle detection. 212Po; deduced levels, J, π, multipolarities, configurations, exclusive reaction cross sections. Comparisons with shell-model calculations, with structure of 148Gd, and with earlier experimental results. Discussed previous interpretation as α-cluster states.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 212Po; calculated levels, J, π, configurations, γ-ray branching ratios, B(M1), B(E2), wave-function decomposition for the yrast and yrare states using shell model with KHPE and H208 interactions. Comparison with experimental data.

Systematics of B(M1) strengths for N=80 isotones of 132Te, 134Xe, 136Ba, 138Ce and 140Nd, and compared with theoretical predictions.

Quadrupole deformation of 130Xe measured in a Coulomb-excitation experiment

Measured Coulomb excitation yields analyzed using GOSIA least-squares fitting code. 130Xe; deduced levels, J, π, E2 and M1 matrix elements, B(E2), B(M1), spectroscopic quadrupole moments (Q) for the first 2+ and 4+ states and second 2+ state, and shape parameters for the 0+ ground state. Comparison with previous experimental data, and with several theoretical model calculations.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 130Xe; calculated levels, J, π using general Bohr Hamiltonian with the mean-field theory and Universal Nuclear Energy Density Functional (UNEDF0), shell-model with the GCN50:82 and SN100PN interactions, Davydov-Filippov and γ-soft phenomenological models; calculated quadrupole shape invariants for 0+ ground state and the first 2+ state using general Bohr Hamiltonian (GBH) model. Comparison with previous experimental data, and with large-scale shell model calculations using the SM, GCN50:82, SN100PN and SN100-KTH interactions. Systematics of levels, J, π, transition probabilities and isomers in N=79 isotones of 129Sn, 131Te, 133Xe, 135Ba, 137Ce, 139Nd, 141Sm, 143Gd.

Comparison with shell-model calculations. Systematics of levels and isomers in N=81 nuclides 131Sn, 133Te, 135Xe, 137Ba, 139Ce, 141Nd, 143Sm and 145Gd.

Prolate shape of 140Ba from a first combined Doppler-shift and Coulomb-excitation measurement at the REX-ISOLDE facility

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 96Mo(140Ba, 140Ba'), [140Ba secondary beam from U(p, X), E=1.4 GeV primary beam], E=392 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, (particle)γ-coin, yields in different angular ranges, differential σ(θ), half-life of first 2+ state by DSAM using REX-ISOLDE and MINIBALL setup at ISOLDE-CERN. 140Ba; deduced level, E2 matrix element, B(E2), and static quadrupole moment of first 2+ state. Z=56, A=130=146; systematics of energies and B(E2) of first 2+ states. Comparison with Monte Carlo shell-model approach and beyond-mean-field calculations. Gogny energy density functionals and distribution of probability contours in the triaxial (β, γ) plane for 0+, 2+ and 4+ states first two bands.

NUCLEAR MOMENTS 140Ba; measured static quadrupole moment of first 2+ state by reorientation analysis of Coulomb-excitation yields.
