Four experiments carried out using 136Xe beam with 208Pb and 238U targets using PRISMA magnetic mass spectrometer and AGATA demonstrator array at Legnaro PIAVE+ALPI accelerator, 136Xe beam with 198Pt target using GAMMASPHERE and CHICO particle detector arrays at LBNL-cyclotron facility, and 11B beam with 130Te target using HORUS array at Cologne FN Tandem accelerator. 135Xe, 137Ba; deduced levels, J, π, isomers, configurations, B(E2). Comparison with shell-model calculations. Systematics of levels and isomers in N=81 nuclides 131Sn, 133Te, 135Xe, 137Ba, 139Ce, 141Nd, 143Sm and 145Gd.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 135Xe, 137Ba; calculated levels, J, π, B(E2) using large-scale shell-model with PQM130 and SN100PN interactions, average proton occupation numbers in each single particle orbit of the gdsh model space. Comparison with experimental data.
