Comparison with beyond mean-field (BMF) and shell-model calculations, and with previous experimental data.

Onset of triaxial deformation in 66Zn and properties of its first excited 0+ state studied by means of Coulomb excitation

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 208Pb(66Zn, 66Zn'), E=240 MeV from the XTU-Tandem accelerator of INFN-Legnaro; measured Eγ, Iγ, scattered 66Zn particles, (66Zn)γ-coin, γ-ray yields, γ(θ), (66Zn)γ(θ) in safe Coulomb excitation using GALILEO spectrometer for γ radiation, and SPIDER array for 66Zn particles. 66Zn; deduced levels, J, π, Coulomb excitation yields, reduced E2, E3, and M1 matrix elements using GOSIA least-squares fitting analysis, B(E2), B(E3), B(M1), spectroscopic quadrupole moments for the first and second 2+ and the first 4+ states, quadrupole shape invariants and deformation parameters; calculated collective wave function contours for selected states in 66Zn, and potential energy surfaces for 64,66,68,70Zn in (β2, γ) plane. Comparison with extensive beyond-mean-field (BMF) and large-scale shell-model calculations with a variety of model spaces and interactions, and with results of previous experimental results. Systematics of low-lying states in 62,64,66,68,70Zn.

Evidence of Rotational Behaviour in 120Te Isotope

Comparison with VMI plus two band mixing and the Davydov-Filippov model.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 134Nd, 184Pt; calculated mean-field collective potential energy surfaces in (β, γ) plane, Kπ=8- isomeric state; analyzed weakening of the K-forbiddenness by rotational K-mixing (Coriolis interaction), and triaxiality (Davydov-Fillipov model).

Lifetime measurement for the 2+1 state in 140Sm and the onset of collectivity in neutron-deficient Sm isotopes

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 124Te(20Ne, 4n), E=82 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, lifetime of the first 2+ state by recoil-distance Doppler shift technique using Koln-Bucharest Plunger device coupled to the EAGLE spectrometer at Heavy Ion Laboratory of the University of Warsaw. 140Sm; deduced levels, B(E2). Systematics of energies and B(E2) of first 2+ states, and E(4+)/E(2+) in 134,136,138,140,142,144,146,148,150,152,154Sm. 141Sm, 197Au; observed γ. Fit of B(E2) and E(2+) with modified Grodzins formula. Comparison with calculations based on a mapped collective Hamiltonian in five quadrupole coordinates (5DCH) and the Gogny D1S interaction.
