E2 rotational invariants of 01+ and 21+ states for 106Cd: The emergence of collective rotation

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 208Pb(106Cd, 106Cd'), E=3.849 MeV/nucleon; measured Doppler-corrected γ-ray spectra, Eγ, Iγ, (106Cd)γ-coin using GRETINA array with 32 HPGe crystals for γ detection, and CHICO array for particles at the ATLAS-ANL facility. 106Cd; deduced levels, J, π, E2 and E3 matrix elements using GOSIA analysis code, E2 transition strengths, spectroscopic quadrupole moments, electric quadrupole invariants (Kumar-Cline sum rules) Q3cos(3δ), axial-symmetry parameter δ. Comparison with beyond mean-field (BMF) and shell-model calculations, and with previous experimental data.

Measurement of the 7Li(γ, t)4He ground-state cross section between Eγ = 4.4. and 10 MeV

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 7Li(γ, t), E=4.4-10 MeV from High Intensity Gamma-ray Source (HIγS) at TUNL; measured E(t), I(t), Eα, Iα, Eγ and Iγ, αt-coin, ground state σ(E) using the SIDAR silicon detector array. 3H(α, γ), E(cm)=0-7 MeV; deduced astrophysical S-factor from R-matrix analysis. Comparison with model predictions, and with previous experimental results. Relevance to primordial Li problem and the mirror α-capture reactions.
