Systematics of low-spin level structures for N=56 isotones (Se, Kr, Sr, Zr, Mo, Ru, Pd). Comparison to large-scale shell-model (LSSM) calculations for 92Kr. EXILL array of 16 large Ge detectors including eight clover detectors in one plane with an octagonal geometry was used for experiment in which 92Kr and 96Zr were measured, while for 98Mo - FIPPS array of 8 HPGe detectors mounted in an octagonal geometry was used.

Examination of nuclear chirality with a magnetic moment measurement of the I=9 isomeric state in 128Cs

NUCLEAR MOMENTS 128mCs; measured Eγ, γ-intensity oscillation spectra, oscillating ratios, Larmor frequency of precession with a magnetic field of about 0.7 T, time differential perturbed angular distribution (TDPAD) of γ rays from the isomer using 122Sn(10B, 4n)128Cs, E=55 MeV reaction at the Tandem accelerator of IPN Orsay; deduced g-factor and configuration of the isomeric 9+ bandhead of the yrast states. Comparison with theoretical predictions for shell-model configurations, and chiral interpretation of 128Cs nucleus as a composition of the odd proton, odd neutron, and even-even core with their angular momentum vectors.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 128Cs; calculated levels, J, π, bands, B(E2), B(M1), g factors using quantum angular momentum algebra and semiclassical calculations, in the framework of many-particle-many-hole Particle Triaxial Rotor Model. Evidence for the existence of chiral critical frequency, and absence of chiral doublet members for J<13 states.

Z=34-54, A=86-142; assigned values of the third component of isospins T3 and total isospins for all the possible even-even fission fragments produced in the 235U(n, F), E=thermal reaction. Structure of even-even Sr isotopes with 50 ≤ N ≤ 58 neutrons

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 235U(n, F), E=thermal; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ), γγ(linear polarization) using Exogam array at Institut Laue Langevin (EXILL) at Grenoble. 90,92,94Sr, 96Sr; deduced levels, J, π, γ-branching ratios, multipolarities, multipole mixing ratios. Comparison with previous experimental results, and with large-scale shell-model calculations; discussed role of the ν9/2[404] extruder in change of deformation in this mass range. Systematics of excited 0+ low-lying states in N=50-64, Zn, Ge, Se, Kr, Sr, Zr, Ru; and in N=50, 52, Z=28-50 even-even isotopes.

RADIOACTIVITY 252Cf(SF); measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin using Gammasphere array at Argonne National Laboratory. 90,92,94Sr, 96Sr; deduced levels, J, π, γ-branching. Results from this experiment were mainly used as a countercheck of data from 235U(n, F) reaction. No separate Eγ, Iγ data given from this measurement.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 88,90,92,94Sr, 96Sr; calculated main proton and neutron components in wave functions of the levels in Sr isotopes, structure of first four 0+, first two 1+, first three 2+, first two 3+, and first 3-, 4-, 5-, 6-, 7- and 9- levels in terms of main components, B(M1), occupation of proton orbitals in selected levels of 88Sr using large-scale shell-model.
