NUCLEAR REACTIONS 208Pb(40Ar, pxn), E=255 MeV; measured mass distribution of chlorine fragments populated through pxn transfer channels, Eγ, Iγ, time-of-flight, energy loss, γγ-, (fragment)γ-coin using the Clara array and magnetic spectrometer Prisma at ALPI-Linac accelerator facility in Legnaro. 37,38,39,40,41,42,43Cl; deduced levels, J, π, configurations. Comparison with shell-model calculations, and previous experimental studies.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 37,38,39,40,41,42Cl; calculated levels, J, π, proton and neutron occupation probabilities, energy splittings between 1/2+ and 3/2+ states. Large-scale shell model calculations with PSDPF interaction.

Comparison of levels, J, π, B(E2), B(M1) values with shell model calculations.
