Lifetime measurements of short-lived excited states, and shape changes in ⁶⁹As and ⁶⁶Ge nuclei

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁴⁰Ca(³²S, 3p)⁶⁹As, (³²S, 2pα)⁶⁶Ge, E=95 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-and (recoil)γγ-coin, level half-lives by DSAM and (recoil)γγ-coin method using the GASP array and recoil filter detector setup at the Tandem XTU accelerator of the INFN-LNL-Legnaro. ⁶⁹As, ⁶⁶Ge; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, B(E2), transition quadrupole moments, shape changes, configurations. Comparison with the cranked Woods-Saxon-Strutinsky calculations by means of the total Routhian surface (TRS) method.
