Discussed the influence of deformed neutron and proton shells on the fission process.

Observed energy shift for the Δ-resonance peak of about 63 ± 5 MeV and quenching of the quasielastic component. Comparison to theoretical predictions using random phase approximation (RPA) with Giessen energy density functional (GiEDF). FRS spectrometer with SIS-18 synchrotron beam (GSI).

Charge-changing cross sections for 42-51Ca and effect of charged-particle evaporation induced by neutron-removal reactions

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 12C(42Ca, X), (43Ca, X), (44Ca, X), (45Ca, X), (46Ca, X), (47Ca, X), (48Ca, X), (49Ca, X), (50Ca, X), (51Ca, X), E=280 MeV/nucleon; measured reaction products; deduced charge-exchange σ. Comparison to Glauber-like model calculations. Observed significant decrease of charge-exchange cross-section with increase of point-proton radius and attributed this effect to attributed to the charged-particle evaporation induced by the neutron-removal reaction. Used the conclusions of the present work to re-analyze charge-exchange σ for Be, B, C, N, O, F, Si, Ti, Ca, Fe isotopes. BigRIPS fragment separator at RI Beam Factory (RIBF).

Increased isomeric lifetime of hydrogen-like 192mOs

RADIOACTIVITY 192mOs(IT)[from 9Be(197Au, X), E=478-492 MeV/nucleon]; measured half-life of the highly-charged stored ions using Schottky mass spectrometry in Experimental Storage Ring (ESR) of the isomeric state of 192Os at UNILAC and SIS-18 heavy-ion accelerators of GSI. Discussed increased half-life of the hydrogen-like ions of isomeric state as compared to that of the neutral ions.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS C(33Mg, 32Mg), E=898 MeV/nucleon; measured 32Mg fragments using MUSIC setup at GSI, σ, longitudinal momentum distribution. 33Mg; deduced ground state configuration, relevance to 'Island of Inversion'. Monte Carlo shell model (MCSM) calculation with the SDPF-M interaction. 33Mg beam produced in Be(48Ca, X) at 1 GeV/nucleon.
