Presaddle and postsaddle dissipative effects in fission using complete kinematics measurements

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 1H(208Pb, F), E=500 MeV/nucleon; measured fission fragments, fission cross sections, prescission neutron multiplicities and average neutron excess of the final fission fragments as function of atomic number of fissioning nuclei by magnetic rigidity and time-of-flight techniques at GSI facility. Kinematics of the two fission fragments used for the first time to investigate fission dynamics at small and large deformations. Comparison of measured cross sections with model calculations using INCL4.6+ABLA07 codes.
