Structure of even-even Sr isotopes with 50 ≤ N ≤ 58 neutrons

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 235U(n, F), E=thermal; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ), γγ(linear polarization) using Exogam array at Institut Laue Langevin (EXILL) at Grenoble. 90,92,94Sr, 96Sr; deduced levels, J, π, γ-branching ratios, multipolarities, multipole mixing ratios. Comparison with previous experimental results, and with large-scale shell-model calculations; discussed role of the ν9/2[404] extruder in change of deformation in this mass range. Systematics of excited 0+ low-lying states in N=50-64, Zn, Ge, Se, Kr, Sr, Zr, Ru; and in N=50, 52, Z=28-50 even-even isotopes.

RADIOACTIVITY 252Cf(SF); measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin using Gammasphere array at Argonne National Laboratory. 90,92,94Sr, 96Sr; deduced levels, J, π, γ-branching. Results from this experiment were mainly used as a countercheck of data from 235U(n, F) reaction. No separate Eγ, Iγ data given from this measurement.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 88,90,92,94Sr, 96Sr; calculated main proton and neutron components in wave functions of the levels in Sr isotopes, structure of first four 0+, first two 1+, first three 2+, first two 3+, and first 3-, 4-, 5-, 6-, 7- and 9- levels in terms of main components, B(M1), occupation of proton orbitals in selected levels of 88Sr using large-scale shell-model.
