NUCLEAR MOMENTS 70,72,74,76Ge; measured g factors of first and second 2+ and first 4+ states using transient field (TF) technique following Coulomb excitation in inverse kinematics at WNSL-Yale facility. Systematics of g factors for neighboring nuclides of even-even N=32-50, Z=30-38. Comparison with large-scale shell-model, collective models, and IBA-II, and with previous experimental studies. No evidence for shell closure for neutrons at N=38 or N=40.

Quadrupole moments and g factors for high-spin neutron isomers in 193Pb

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 170Er(28Si, 5n), (28Si, 4n), E=143 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ(θ, H, t). 193Pb deduced high-spin isomeric states g factors, quadrupole moments, T1/2. 194Pb level deduced quadrupole moment. Comparisons with microscopic BCS and pairing plus quadrupole tilted-axis cranking model predictions. Time-differential perturbed angular distribution method.
