See 40Ca(α,α) for about 35 resonances between 9068 and 12860-keV excitation

E(level): From adopted Eγ data when measured γ-ray energies are available. In other cases weighted averages are taken of values available from different reactions

Jπ(level): In particle-transfer reactions, target Jπ=0+ for 40Ca in (6Li,d), (7Li,t), (12C,8Be), (13C,9Be), (16O,12C) reactions, Jπ=0+ for 42Ca in (3He,n), Jπ=0+ for 46Ti in (p,t). When assigning Jπ to a level based on γ transitions from this level to a level of known Jπ, evaluators use the following rules: if Eγ<4 MeV, transitions are only considered to be E1,M1 or E2; if Eγ>4 MeV, M2 and E3 are considered to be possible.

T1/2(level): Primarily from (α,γ) using DSAM (Doppler-Shift-Attenuation -Method), unless otherwise noted

E(γ): Weighted averages from available values with ΔE. Most values, however, are from level-energy differences

I(γ): From (α,γ), unless otherwise stated
