α-cluster structure of 44Ti in core-excited α+40Ca model

Abstract

It is shown that all the rotational bands in 44Ti at low and high excitation energies can be well explained in an α-cluster model in which the α-like excitation of the core, 40Ca, is incorporated by employing density-dependent M3Y (DDM3Y) double folding potentials.
