NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(11Be, 8He), (11Be, 9Li), E=44 MeV/nucleon; 9Be(12B, 8He), (12B, 9Li), E=45 MeV/nucleon, [secondary 11Be and 12B beams from 9Be(16O, X), E=120 MeV/nucleon, followed by separation of ions of interest using A1900 Fragment Separator at the Coupled Cyclotron Facility of NSCL-MSU]; measured E(n), I(n), charged-particles, (particle)n-coin using the MoNA-LISA detector array for neutron detection and cathode readout drift chambers (CRDCs) for charged particles; deduced decay energy spectra of 9He and 10Li and neutron-unbound states. 9He, 10Li; deduced levels, resonances, widths, J, π, l-values of neutrons from the resonances in 9He and 10Li. Comparison with previous experimental results.

Further insights into the reaction 14Be(CH2, X)10He

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 2H(14Be, 10He), (14Be, 12He), E=59 MeV/nucleon, [14Be secondary beam from 9Be(18O, X), E=120 MeV/nucleon primary reaction using A1900 fragment separator]; measured particle spectra by ΔE-E detectors and neutron spectra by MONA array at NSCL-MSU facility; analyzed decay energy spectra and multiplicity distributions for 8He+n, 8He+2n 8He+4n, and 8He+2n with α removal. 10He; deduced resonance, no evidence for initial state effects based on the halo structure of the initial 14Be assuming a direct α-particle removal reaction. 12He; deduced no evidence for the existence of a low-lying (≤1 MeV) resonance in 12He.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(27F, 26O), E=82 MeV/nucleon, [27F secondary beam produced from projectile fragmentation of a 140 MeV/nucleon 48Ca primary beam]; measured (24O)nn-triple coin, three-body decay energy and angular correlations using MoNA-Sweeper setup at NSCL-MSU; deduced invariant mass and three-body correlations from the 26O ground-state resonance decay. Comparison with Monte-Carlo simulations using a phase-space, model, dineutron model, and three-body decay model. 26O; deduced 1σ upper limit of the ground-state resonance energy of 26O.
