NUCLEAR REACTIONS 54Cr(12C, 3np), E=67 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γ(θ), γγ-coin. 62Cu; deduced levels, J, π, high-spin levels, B(M1)/B(E2), configurations, γγ(linear polarization). Comparison with calculations using the self-consistent tilted axis cranking covariant density functional theory (TAC-C DFT). Comparison with level structures in 60,64Ca. AFRODITE array at the iThemba LABS accelerator facility.

Five-dimensional collective Hamiltonian based on the covariant density functional theory (5DCH-CDFT) and triaxial rotor model (TRM) calculations. Systematics of the bands alignments for 182,184,186,188,190,192Os isotopes. AFRODITE γ-ray spectrometer consisting of 11 clover HPGe detectors at iThemba LABS Separated-Sector Cyclotron.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 122Sn(13C, 4nγ)131Ba, E=65 MeV from XTU Tandem accelerator at LNL-Legnaro; 125Te(12C, 4nγ)133Ce, E=57 MeV from separated sector cyclotron of iThemba LABS; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ) using GALILEO array of 25 Compton-suppressed HPGe detectors, EUCLIDES silicon ball for charged particles and the Neutron Wall array for neutrons for 131Ba at Legnaro, and AFRODITE array of eight Compton-suppressed clover detectors for 133Ce at iThemba LABS. 131Ba, 133Ce; deduced high-spin levels, multipolarities, J, π, bands, quasiparticle alignments, dynamical moments of inertia, signature splittings and configurations. Comparison with cranked shell model and quasiparticle-plus-triaxial-rotor model calculations.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 186W(α, 3n)187Os, E=37 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ)(ADO), γγ(linear polarization) using AFRODITE array of 11 Compton-suppressed HPGe clover detectors at the K=200 cyclotron facility of iThemba Labs. 187Os; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarities, bands, alignment plots, experimental Routhians, Nilsson configurations; calculated total energy surfaces contours in (ϵ2cos(γ+30°), ϵ2sin(γ+30°)) plane using the cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky-Bogoliubov (CNSB) models. Bands interpreted within the cranked shell model (CSM) and CNSB formalism.

Comparison with quasiparticle-plus-triaxial-rotor model calculations. Systematics of band structures of 183,185,187Os and those of positive-parity bands in 182,184,186,188,190,192Os.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 155Gd(α, 2n)157Dy, E=25 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ)(DCO), γγ(linear polarization) using the JUROGAM II array at the University of Jyvaskyla. 148Nd(12C, 5n)155Dy, E=65 MeV; 124Sn(36S, 5n)155Dy, E=165 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin using GAMMASPHERE array at Argonne National Laboratory. 155,157Dy; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarities, Kπ=0+ bands, Kπ=2+ γ-vibrational bands, configurations, alignments, B(M1)/B(E2) ratios. 157Dy; calculated neutron quasiparticle Routhians using cranked shell model (CSM). 154,156Dy; discussed first excited 0+ states in the core nuclei. Systematics of level energies versus spin for γ bands in 154,155,156,157,158Dy and 152,153,154,155,156Gd.
