Search for the origin of wobbling motion in the A ≈ 130 region: The case of 131Xe

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 130Te(α, 3nγ), E=38 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ). 131Xe; deduced levels, J, π, δ, mixing ratios, polarization asymmetries, γ-rays deexcitation from the oriented states (DCO) ratio, intruder νh11/2 band structure, rotational bands, yrast bands, signature splittings, high-spin states. Comparison to triaxial particle rotor model (TPRM) and triaxial projected shell model (TPSM) calculations. Systematics of the bands structure, signature splittings - 127Xe, 131Xe, 133Ba, 135Ce. No experimental signatures of the wobbling excitation were found in the study. Seven Compton-suppressed clover HPGe detectors of the Indian National Gamma Array (INGA) at K-130 cyclotron of the Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC, Kolkata).

Investigation of the low- and medium-spin level structure in 77As

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 76Ge(α, 2np), E=40 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ). 77As; deduced levels, J, π, δ, high-spin states, polarization asymmetries, γ-rays deexcitation from the oriented states (DCO) ratio, configurations, band crossing, kinematic and dynamic moments of inertia, neutron alignments, rotational and vibrational bands structure. Observed large signature splitting of the signature partner bands. Presented evidence for the possible onset of stapler like mechanism in the high-lying negative-parity dipole band. Comparison to shell-model (JUN45, jj44b interactions) and particle plus triaxial-rotor model (TPRM) calculations. Indian National Gamma Array (INGA) spectrometer comprising 6 Clover and 1 LEPS detectors at K-130 Cyclotron of the Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC, Kolkata).

Comparison with previous experimental data, and with large basis shell-model calculations.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 61Ni; calculated levels, J, π, representative and dominant partitions of wave functions of positive and negative parity states using large basis shell-model with JJ44BPN and JUN45 interactions. Comparison with experimental data.
