NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 208Pb(12C, 3n)217Ra, E=68, 72, 80 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, X-rays, γγ-coin, γγ(θ). 217Ra; deduced levels, J, π δ, high-spin states, ratios of directional correlations of oriented states (DCO ratios), transition polarization asymmetry, linear polarization, cumulative T1/2 of the 2301- and 2394-keV states, configurations, bands structure and energy splittings. Comparison to theoretical calculations using reflection-asymmetric triaxial particle rotor model (RAT-PRM). From features of the simplex bands suggested that 217Ra exhibits an intermediate behavior between the extremes of spherical and octupole-deformed nuclei. Systematics of energy splittings and B(E1)/B(E2) ratios for 216Fr, 217Ra, 218Ac, 219Th, 232Th. Indian National Gamma Array (INGA) comprising of 13 Compton suppressed clover detectors and one low-energy photon spectrometer (LEPS) at 15UD Pelletron accelerator of Inter-University Accelerator Centre (New Delhi).

Systematic study of incomplete-fusion dynamics below 8 MeV/nucleon energy

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 175Lu(13C, 4n), (13C, 5n), (13C, 6n), (13C, 4np), (13C, 5np), (13C, nα), (13C, 3nα), (13C, 5nα), (13C, 2n2α), (13C, 3n2α), (13C, 4n2α)182Ir/183Ir/184Ir/182Os/183Os/183mOs/179Re/181Re/183Re/176Ta/177Ta/178mTa, E AP 88 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, σ for evaporation residues by γ-activation method, and forward recoil range distributions (FRRDs) at IUAC, New Delhi; deduced most probable mean ranges, normalized peak widths for residues produced via complete fusion (CF), and/or incomplete fusion (ICF), relative contribution of CF and/or ICF components; calculated Fusion l-distributions for 175Lu(12C, X), (13C, X), E=88 MeV systems using the CCFULL code. Comparison with results from previous experimental data for incomplete fusion fraction in 169Tm, 165Ho, 159Tb, 115In(12C, X), (13C, X), (16O, X), and 209Bi(6Li, X), (7Li, X) systems, and deduced no systematic trend for dependency on the target deformation parameter β2 in the study of the incomplete fusion (ICF) process.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 76Ge(13C, 4n), E=45 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ)(DCO), γγ(linear polarization) using INGA array at TIFR Pelletron facility. 85Sr; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarity, bands, magnetic-dipole (shears) rotational band, B(M1)/B(E2) ratios, signature splitting, alignments, configurations. Comparison with large-scale shell model, and tilted axis cranking calculations.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 85Sr; calculated levels, J, π, configurations using large-scale shell model with JUN45 and jj44b interactions. Comparison with experimental data.
