Investigation of the low- and medium-spin level structure in 77As

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 76Ge(α, 2np), E=40 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ). 77As; deduced levels, J, π, δ, high-spin states, polarization asymmetries, γ-rays deexcitation from the oriented states (DCO) ratio, configurations, band crossing, kinematic and dynamic moments of inertia, neutron alignments, rotational and vibrational bands structure. Observed large signature splitting of the signature partner bands. Presented evidence for the possible onset of stapler like mechanism in the high-lying negative-parity dipole band. Comparison to shell-model (JUN45, jj44b interactions) and particle plus triaxial-rotor model (TPRM) calculations. Indian National Gamma Array (INGA) spectrometer comprising 6 Clover and 1 LEPS detectors at K-130 Cyclotron of the Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC, Kolkata).

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 115In(α, 2n)117Sb, E=28 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γ(θ), γγ(θ)(DCO), γγ(linear polarization) using the VENUS detector system at K-130 cyclotron of VECC-Kolkata. 117Sb; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarities, bands, configurations, alignments, staggering parameters, wave functions. Comparison with particle rotor model (PRM), and with large-scale shell-model calculations using OXBASH code.
