Quenching of single-particle strengths in direct reactions

Comparison with results of previous measurements, and theoretical calculations using large-basis shell model (LBSM). Relevance to single-nucleon knockout reactions.

Comparison with strong-coupling limit of a rotational model.

One-neutron halo nucleus populated in one-proton knockout reaction. Comparison with shell-model calculations using several different interactions.
