Strongly coupled rotational band in 33Mg
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(46Ar, 33Mg), E=102 MeV/nucleon, [secondary 46Ar beam from 9Be(48Ca, X), E=140 MeV/nucleon primary reaction at NSCL-MSU facility]; measured reaction products, Eγ, Iγ, (33Mg)γ-, γγ-coin using S800 spectrograph for particle identification and GRETINA array for γ detection. 33Mg; deduced low-energy yrast levels, J, π, rotational band, ground-state magnetic moment, and intrinsic quadrupole moment. Comparison with strong-coupling limit of a rotational model.
