Discussed the correlation between α-decay hindrance factor and shape changes. Reaction products implanted into two adjacently mounted double-sided silicon strip detectors (DSSDs) used tp measure α, while γ-rays were detected by double sided planar HPGe. NUCLEAR REACTIONS 100Mo(40Ar, 4n)136Nd, E=152 MeV; analyzed γ-ray measurements reported in their previous articles: 2018Pe07, 2018Lv01, 2019Pe21 and 2020Pe07 (Phys. Rev. C 97, 041304(R); ibid 98, 044304; 100, 054319; 102, 014311). 136Nd; deduced levels, J, π, γ-ray asymmetry ratios for 751- and 781-keV γ rays, linear polarization for 751-keV γ ray, multipolarity, B(M1)/B(E2) and B(E2)/B(E2) ratios, transverse one-phonon and zero-phonon wobbling-mode bands, and configurations. Comparison with theoretical calculations using a new particle-rotor model coupling the total angular momentum of two quasiparticles to a triaxial core in an orthogonal geometry.

Tilted precession bands in 135Nd

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 100Mo(40Ar, 5n)135Nd, E=152 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ)(DCO), γγ(two-angle, anisotropy ratio), γ(θ), γγ(linear polarization) using JUROGAM II spectrometer with 39 Compton-suppressed Ge detectors at the K130 Cyclotron facility of the University of Jyvaskyla. 135Nd; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, rotational bands, multipolarities, mixing ratios, B(M1)out/B(E2)in and B(E2)out/B(E2)in ratios, configurations. Comparison with quasiparticle-plus-triaxial-rotor model calculations. Observed bands described as tilted precession (TiP) bands instead of wobbling bands. Discussed nuclear triaxiality, and similarities and differences between tilted precession bands (TiP) and wobbling bands.

RADIOACTIVITY 165Pt(α)[new nuclide from 92Mo(78Kr, 5n), E=418 MeV]; 170Hg(α)[new nuclide from 96Ru(78Kr, 4n), E=390, 418 MeV]; 167Pt(α)[from 96Ru(78Kr, 3nα), E=390, 418 MeV]; 166Pt(α)[from 96Ru(78Kr, 4n), E=390, 418 MeV]; 161,162,163Os, 158,159W, 157Ta, 154,155Hf(α)[from α-decay chains of 165Pt, 167Pt and 170Hg]; measured Eα, Iα, α-α correlated plots, half-lives of ground states, production cross sections of parent nuclei using the MARA spectrometer with multiwire proportional counter for recoil identification, and double-sided silicon strip detector for α detection at the University of Jyvaskyla accelerator facility; deduced Q(α), reduced α-decay widths. 165Pt, 170Hg(2p); no evidence found for this decay mode in this experiment, although, Q(2p) is positive for both the nuclides. Systematics of Qα and Q(2p) values for A=156-180, and α-decay reduced widths for N=83-102, for W, Os, Pt and Hg isotopes.

Chirality of 135Nd reexamined: Evidence for multiple chiral doublet bands

Comparison with constrained density functional theory (CDFT) and particle-rotor model (PRM) calculations.
