RADIOACTIVITY 171Tm(β-); measured Eγ, Iγ, photon emission probability of the 66.7-keV γ transition in 171Yb from 171Tm decay using 60Co as a primary standard and 44Ti/44Sc in secular equilibrium as secondary standard, with measurements made for 171Tm decay using a combination γ-spectrometry and inductively coupled mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) techniques. Comparison with previous experimental values. Relevance to astrophysical interest as a branching point nucleus along the s-process path.
