Measurement and analysis of the 241Am(n, γ) cross section with liquid scintillator detectors using time-of-flight spectroscopy at the n_TOF facility at CERN

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 241Am(n, γ), E=0.02 eV-150 keV; measured Eγ, E(n), Iγ, I(n), thermal capture σ, capture yield using C6D6 scintillators for γ detection, and Si detectors and MicroMegas chambers for neutron fluence, TOF spectrometry at n_TOF facility in CERN. 242Am; deduced 362 n-resonances in the resolved region up to 320 eV, σ(E) for unresolved resonance region up to 150 keV, J, Γγ, Γn, R-matrix analysis using SAMMY code. Porter-Thomas distribution for s-wave resonances. Comparison with previous experimental data, and with evaluated libraries.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 241Am(n, γ), E=thermal -1 MeV; measured reaction products using C6D6 liquid scintillators and ToF spectrometry; deduced yields, σresonance parameters from 150 to 320 eV using SAMMY R-matrix code. Thermal σ compared with other data, statistical analysis (D0, S0) with Mughabghab.
