Chiral quark-meson coupling models for finite nuclei and their (e, e'p) reactions

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 16O, 40,48Ca, 90Zr, 208Pb; calculated binding energies per nucleon, charge radii, single particle energy spectra for 40Ca using chiral quark-meson coupling (CQMC) models. Comparison with results from the conventional quantum hadrodynamics (QHD)-like models, and with experimental data.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 40Ca(e, e'p), E=375 MeV; calculated reduced cross section for the knocked-out proton from 2s1/2 and 1d3/2 orbits of 40Ca in parallel and perpendicular kinematics using the theoretical framework based on the distorted-wave impulse approximation (DWIA).
