Production of Various Elements in Ultraperipheral 208Pb-208Pb Collisions at the LHC

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 208Pb(208Pb, X), E ∼ 5 TeV; analyzed available data; deduced σ, one, two or three neutrons are emitted frequently in ultraperipheral collisions (UPCs) of heavy relativistic nuclei, UPCs of lead nuclei at the LHC were modeling with Relativistic ELectromagnetic Dissociation (RELDIS) model to evaluate the contribution of photonuclear reactions in the domain of quasideuteron absorption and at higher photon energies.

Photoneutron Reactions on 129Xe Nuclei and Their Electromagnetic Dissociation in Colliders

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 129Xe(γ, n);129Xe(γ, 2n);129Xe(γ, 3n), E=threshold-40 MeV; calculated inclusive σ(γ, xn) and summary σ(γ, Sn) cross sections [in σ(γ, Sn) the symbol Sn denotes summation over all available inclusive σ(γ, xn)] using TALYS code, evaluated σ(γ, Sn) within the Combined PhotoNuclear Reaction Model (CPNRM) framework as a good approximation to the total photoabsorption σ describing the ElectroMagnetic Dissociation (EMD) process using also neighboring nuclei reactions.
