Observation of a large β-delayed neutron emission component in 102Rb decay and identification of excited states in 102Sr

RADIOACTIVITY 102Rb(β-), (β-n)[from U(p, F), E=500 MeV at TRIUMF-ISAC facility]; measured Eβ, Eγ, Iγ, βγ-, γγ-coin using 8π array for γ detection and SCEPTAR plastic scintillator for β detection. 102,102Sr; deduced levels, J, π, delayed neutron-emission probability Pn. Systematics of absolute intensity of the first 2+ to 0+ transition, and direct ground-state feeding in β-delayed neutron emission in the β decays of 94,96,98,100,102Rb. Plots of Pn/T1/2 versus Qβn for decays of 94,96,98,100,102Rb, and comparison with theoretical and phenomenological descriptions. 102Zr, 102Sr, 101Zr(β-); observed γ rays.
