NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 170,172,174,176,178W; calculated level energies, transition quadrupole moments, and projected total energy surfaces (PTES) in (ϵ2, γ) plane for positive-parity yrast bands up to 20+, level energies of γ bands. Investigated beyond-mean-field effects on nuclear triaxiality by projected total energy surface, based on the triaxial projected shell model and hybridized macroscopic-microscopic method. Comparison with experimental data.

Influence of pairing correlations on the radius of neutron-rich nuclei

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 124,122Zr; calculated total energy, neutron rms radius, total neutron densities for 124Zr with SkI4 interaction and DDDI pairing force, single-neutron energies for 124Zr; deduced influence of pairing correlations on the size of the neutron-rich nuclei. Self-consistent Skyrme Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov calculations with Green's function techniques. Discussed pairing antihalo effect.
