Reanalysis of radioisotope measurements of the 9Be (γ, n) 8Be cross section

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(γ, n)8Be, E=1.67-2.5 MeV; analyzed σ(E) using previous measurements of isotopic yields of 24Na, 28Al, 38Cl, 58Co, 65Ni, 72Ga, 105Ru, 124Sb, 206,207Bi, 226Ra with appropriate corrections for recommended half-lives taken from the Nuclear Data Sheets publications. 9Be; deduced resonance energies, Γn, Γγ, Breit-Wigner parameters to the 1/2+ state, astrophysical reaction rate for 4He(αn, γ)9Be reaction for r-process nucleosynthesis. Comparison with previous studies using (γ, n) and (e, e') reactions.
