Modular Total Absorption Spectrometer (MTAS) array of 19 NaI(Tl) coupled with auxiliary Si-strip detectors at the mass separator and Tandem accelerator at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

Comparison to spherical shell-model calculations using the jj44b and JUN45 effective interactions. Experimental data on rotational band is compared to the calculations made within configuration-fixed constrained covariant density functional theory (CDFT) and the quantum particle rotor model (PRM) formalism. Systematics for superderformed bands in 60Zn, 66Zn, 68Zn, 68Ge. Gammasphere array with 101 detectors in conjunction with the fragment mass analyzer (FMA) and a microchannel plate (MCP) detector at ATLAS accelerator (ANL).

Decay spectroscopy of the blocked fission product 130I

RADIOACTIVITY 130I(β-)[from 130Te(p, n), E=7.5 MeV]; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ). 130Xe; deduced levels, J, π, δ, transition intensities, γγ-angular correlations. Uncertainty of the strongest transition improved by a factor 2. Comparison to other experimental data. Measurement with Gammasphere array consisted of 49 Compton-suppressed HPGe detectors (ANL). Source was produced by irradiation at the Brookhaven Tandem Van de Graaff facility. Estimated source strength was around 11 μCi.

Systematics of energies and B(E2) values of first 2+ states in even-even N=22-40 Ni, Fe and Cr isotopes. Comparison with shell model calculations in the fpgd space using the state-of-the-art LNPS effective interaction.
