Comparison with the framework of triaxial projected shell model calculations. The 15UD Pelletron accelerator facility at inter university accelerator centre (IUAC), New Delhi.

Decoupled and semi-decoupled bands in 197Hg and 199Hg

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 197Au(209Bi, X)197Hg/199Hg, E=1450 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, and γγ(θ)(DCO) using Gammasphere array at ATLAS-ANL facility. 197,199Hg; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, bands, decoupled positive-parity sequences, alignments, configurations, transition from oblate collective rotation at low spin to triaxial noncollective shapes at high spin; calculated quasiparticle levels and total energy surfaces using Ultimate Cranker calculations with standard Nilsson parameters. Systematics of positive-parity levels in A=193-200 even- and odd-A Hg isotopes.
