RADIOACTIVITY 38Ca(β+)[from 40Ca fragmentation]; measured Iβ using scintillator, Eγ, Iγ using Ge; deduced T1/2, Ft, branching ratio. 38K deduced γ transitions decay scheme (partially using also Anderson data). 38Ca calculated β decay scheme with branching ratios, strength distribution using shell model with USD and Chung-Wildenthal interactions.
