C 101, 035501 (2020) B.Ohayon, H.Rahangdale, E.Parnes, G.Perelman, O.Heber, G.Ron Decay microscope for trapped neon isotopes RADIOACTIVITY 23Ne(β-); 18,19Ne(β+); described neon atom trap experiment for the detection of the charged particles recoiling from the decays of the nuclei in a megneto-optical trap (MOT) through advanced ion-imaging techniques, such as velocity-map imaging (VMI). Calculated measurement sensitivity of recoil ion spectral measurements for angular correlation and branching ratios of the decay products. Monte Carlo simulations. Relevance to future experiments for constraining BSM tensor interactions and extracting the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matrix element for superallowed Fermi and mirror transitions.
