Proton-proton fusion in new pionless EFT power counting

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 1H(p, d), E ≈ 1.5 MeV; calculated zero-energy astrophysical S-factor, np 1S0 phase shift against Tlab=0-200 MeV, pp 1S0 phase shift, fusion σ of the reaction using pionless effective field theory with short-range interactions consideration of next-to-leading order including the Coulomb interactions the S-wave pp scattering; compared with Nijm93 results.
