Experimental search for the bound-state singlet deuteron in the radiative n-p capture

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 1H(n, γ), E=slow; measured Eγ, Iγ; deduced σ upper limit for singlet deuteron production using HPGe detectors at the Prompt Gamma Activation Analysis (PGAA)0 facility, Budapest Neutron Center; deduced no evidence for the two-photon transition in the np capture with one of γ rays in the 2100-2210 keV region, and upper limit for the cross section of the singlet deuteron production. Comparison with theoretical predictions.
