High precision 5 MeV Mott polarimeter

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 197Au(polarized e, e), E=4.7, 5, 5.3 MeV; measured energy and timing of the scattered electrons, time-of-flight distribution of Mott coincidence triggers, E-ΔE histograms, normalized energy spectra, energy-time coincidence plots, Mott scattering asymmetries, and beam polarizations using a newly designed Mott polarimeter at the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF) at Jefferson Lab; deduced Pade functions for asymmetries, differential σ(E).
