Fission fragment angular anisotropy in neutron-induced fission of 235U measured with a time projection chamber

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 235U(n, F), E=0.18-200 MeV; measured fission fragments, neutron time-of-flight spectra, angular distributions of fission fragments, and fission fragment anisotropy as a function of neutron energy using a fission time projection chamber (TPC) for three-dimensional tracking as part of the Neutron Induced Fission Fragment Tracking Experiment (NIFFTE) collaboration at the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center at LANL. Comparison with previous experimental data, and evaluated data in ENDF/B-VII.

Total kinetic energy release in 239Pu (n, f) post-neutron emission from 0.5 to 50 MeV incident neutron energy

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 239Pu(n, F), E=0.5-50 MeV; measured average total kinetic energy (TKE) using the neutron time-of-flight technique, and the kinetic energy of fission fragments post-neutron emission in a double Frisch-gridded ionization chamber at Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (LANSCE); deduced average total kinetic energy for fission products. Comparison with results from model calculations, and with ENDF/B-VII evaluated cross sections.
