In-beam γ spectroscopy of 63Mn

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(63Mn, 63Mn'), E=84 meV/nucleon, [secondary 63Mn from 9Be(76Ge, X), E=130 MeV/nucleon primary reaction]; measured Eγ, Iγ, (63Mn)γ-, γγ-coin, level half-lives by Doppler line-shape analysis using SeGA and GRETINA arrays for γ detection, A1900 fragment separator and S-800 spectrograph at NSCL-MSU accelerator facility; recreated Doppler-corrected γ spectra. 63Mn; deduced levels, J, π, B(M1), B(E2). Comparison with large-scale shell-model calculations using different model spaces and effective interactions. Systematics of 59,61,63Mn level structures.

Total kinetic energy release in 239Pu (n, f) post-neutron emission from 0.5 to 50 MeV incident neutron energy

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 239Pu(n, F), E=0.5-50 MeV; measured average total kinetic energy (TKE) using the neutron time-of-flight technique, and the kinetic energy of fission fragments post-neutron emission in a double Frisch-gridded ionization chamber at Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (LANSCE); deduced average total kinetic energy for fission products. Comparison with results from model calculations, and with ENDF/B-VII evaluated cross sections.

Comparison of experimental breakup fractions with eikonal reaction model predictions, and previous experimental results.
