Shape evolution in ¹²³Cs and ¹²⁴Ba nuclei

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁹⁶Zr(³²S, 4np), (³²S, 4n), E=140 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, level half-lives by DSAM using INGA array at IUAC facility. ¹²³Cs, ¹²⁴Ba; deduced high-spin levels, transition quadrupole moments, deformation parameters, shape change from prolate to triaxial. Comparison with cranked shell model calculations.
