Shape evolution in 123Cs and 124Ba nuclei

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 96Zr(32S, 4np), (32S, 4n), E=140 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, level half-lives by DSAM using INGA array at IUAC facility. 123Cs, 124Ba; deduced high-spin levels, transition quadrupole moments, deformation parameters, shape change from prolate to triaxial. Comparison with cranked shell model calculations.
