High-precision γ-ray spectroscopy of the cardiac PET imaging isotope ⁸²Rb and its impact on dosimetry

RADIOACTIVITY ⁸²Rb(EC), (β⁺)[from daughter product of ⁸²Sr produced in Rb(p, X), E=40-100 MeV reaction at Brookhaven Linear Isotope Producer (BLIP) followed by chemical separation, and transported to ANL for counting]; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ) using Gammasphere array at ANL. ⁸²Kr; deduced levels, J, π, multipolarity, mixing ratios, ϵ+β⁺ feedings. Dosimetry analysis relevant to cardiac PET imaging technique. Comparison with previous experimental results.
