Reduced transition probabilities along the yrast line in 166W

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 92Mo(78Kr, 4p), E=380 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin correlated with implanted recoils, level half-lives by recoil-distance and differential decay curve method (DDCM) using RITU gas-filled separator, GREAT focal-plane spectrometer, DPUNS plunger system and JURGAM-II array at Jyvaskyla accelerator facility. 166W; deduced levels, J, π, yrast band, B(E2), B(E2) ratios and compared with theoretical predictions for an axially deformed rotor. Systematics of energies and B(E2) values for the first 2+, 4+ and 6+ states in A=160-190 even-A W isotopes.

RADIOACTIVITY 164,165Ir(p), (α)[from 92Mo(78Kr, xnp), E=428, 435, 450 MeV]; 163Os(α)[from 164Ir p decay]; 160Re(p)[from 164Ir α decay]; measured E(p), I(p), E(α), I(α), production σ for 164Ir, recoil-pα-, pα-, αα-correlated events, half-lives, α-decay branching ratio of 164Ir decay using RITU separator and GREAT spectrometer at JYFL accelerator facility; deduced α- and proton-decay reduced widths. 160Re; deduced level energy of the isomer. 162,163Ir(α); estimated half-lives and α-particle branching ratios. 155Lu, 156Hf, 158W, 160,161W, 161,162,163Re, 164Os(α); observed α lines in particle spectrum. Comparison with previous experimental results. Systematics of α-decay widths and Q values for πh11/2 states in Z=73-78, N=84-92 nuclei.
