Quasielastic electron scattering with the KIDS nuclear energy density functional

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 16O, 40Ca, 208Pb(e, e'p), E=300-2500 MeV; calculated σ(E) with parallel and perpendicular kinematics, fourth response functions and left-right asymmetry for 16O, spectroscopic factors for 40Ca and 208Pb. 16O, 40Ca, 208Pb; calculated charge and neutron density profiles; investigated isoscalar and isovector effective masses of the nucleon in nuclear medium, and ground state properties of spherical nuclei. KIDS (Korea-IBS-Daegu-SKKU) density functional model using KIDS0, KIDS0-m*99 KIDS-m*77 interactions, with wave functions of the nucleon in target nuclei obtained from nonrelativistic Hartree-Fock equation. Comparison with results from SLy4 interaction, and with experimental data from NIKHEF, Saclay and JLab facilities.
