Measurement of the generalized polarizabilities of the proton at intermediate Q2
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 1H(e, ep), at Q2=0.10, 0.20, 0.45 GeV2; measured scattered electrons, outgoing protons, ep-coin, photon electroproduction σ(E), using two high-resolution, small solid-angle magnetic spectrometers in coincidence at the MAMI electron beam facility; deduced missing mass squared distributions, structure functions, electric and magnetic generalized polarizabilities (GPs) of the proton using fitting methods based either on the low-energy theorem or the dispersion relation model for virtual Compton scattering (VCS), polarizability fits. Comparison with Bethe-Heitler (BH)+Born theoretical calculations.
