Two-neutron transfer in 7Be + 9Be collisions

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(7Be, 7Be), (7Be, 9Be), E=23.1 MeV, [7Be secondary beam produced in 7Li(6Li, 7Be), E=30 MeV primary reaction]; measured reaction products, ΔE-E total spectrum for p, d, t, α, 6Li, 7Li, 7Be and 9Be charged particles, differential σ(θ) using silicon surface barrier telescopes at the University of Sao Paulo RIBRAS facility. 7,8,9Be; deduced levels, J, π, B(M1), B(E2), electric and magnetic multipole moments; calculated spectroscopic amplitudes for two-particle wave function components using shell model. 9Be(p, t), (p, p), E=14-23 MeV; calculated elastic scattering differential σ(θ, E), and elastic transfer σ(E). Analysis using coupled reaction channel (CRC) and DWBA calculations.

Spectroscopy of high-lying resonances in 9Be by the measurement of (p, p), (p, d), and (p, α) reactions with a radioactive 8Li beam

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 1H(8Li, p)8Li, (8Li, d)7Li, (8Li, α)5He, C, 197Au(8Li, 8Li), E=22.5, 16 MeV, [secondary 8Li beam produced in 9Be(7Li, 8Li), E=24.4 MeV]; measured reaction products, yields, Ep, Ip, Ed, Id, Eα, Iα, differential σ(θ) using ΔE-E silicon telescope at the RIBRAS facility of the University of Sao Paulo 8-UD tandem accelerator. 9Be; deduced levels, resonances, J, π, l-values, Γp, Γd, Γα, and reduced widths γ2 and the dimensionless reduced widths θ2α for the α and deuteron channels using R-matrix analysis. Comparison with previous experimental data.

Elastic scattering and total reaction cross section for the 7Be + 27Al system at near-barrier energies

Optical model analysis using the double-folding Sao Paulo and phenomenological Woods-Saxon and Sao Paulo potentials. Analysis of data obtained for 27Al, 197Au(8B, 8B) reactions in progress.
