Spectroscopic studies of neutron-rich 129In and its β-decay daughter, 129Sn, using the GRIFFIN spectrometer

RADIOACTIVITY 129,129mIn(β-)[from UCx(p, F), E=480 MeV, followed by ionization and extraction of relevant isotopes using the Ion-Guide Laser Ion Source (IGLIS) and mass separation of ions of interest using high-resolution mass spectrometer at ISAC-TRIUMF]; measured Eγ, Iγ, β, βγ- and γγ-coin, half-lives of decays of 129In g.s. and three isomers of 129In using GRIFFIN array for γ detection, and SCEPTAR for β particles. 129Sn; deduced levels, J, π, γ-branching ratios, β feedings, logft values from the decays of 129In g.s., and three isomeric states of 129In. 129mIn; deduced β branching for the decay of (29/2+), 1911-keV isomer. Comparison with previous results from the ENSDF database.

Collective 2p-2h intruder states in 118Sn studied via decay of 118In using the GRIFFIN spectrometer at TRIUMF

RADIOACTIVITY 118mIn(β-)[118mIn beam from U(p, X), E=480 MeV, followed by selection of ions through Ion-Guide Laser Ion Source (IG-LIS) at TRIUMF-ISAC]; measured Eγ, Iγ, Eβ, βγ- and γγ-coin, γγ(θ) using GRIFFIN array for γ detection, and SCEPTAR array for β particles. 118Sn; deduced levels, J, π, γ-branching ratios, mixing ratios, B(E2), β feedings, logft. Comparison with sd IBM-2 theoretical calculations using the computer code NPBOS. Comparison with evaluated data in the ENSDF database. Systematics of B(E2) values for transitions from 2+ states in 112,114,116,118,120,122Sn.

Comparison with VS-IMSRG theoretical calculations for positive-parity states in 132Sn. Comparison with evaluated data in the ENSDF database.

β decay and β-delayed neutron decay of the N=82 nucleus 13149In82

RADIOACTIVITY 131In(β-), (β-n)[from U(p, F), E=480 MeV]; measured Eγ, Iγ, Iβ-, γγ-, βγ-, and βγγ-coin, half-lives of 9/2+ ground state, 1/2- and 21/2+ isomers in 131In, and those of 10+ isomer in 130Sn, and (23/2-) isomer in 131Sn using the GRIFFIN array for γ detection and the SCEPTAR array for β detection at TRIUMF-ISAC facility. 130,131Sn, 130Sb; deduced levels, J, π, conversion coefficient, multipolarity, configurations, β feedings, delayed-neutron emission probabilities Pn for 21/2+ isomer, and combined Pn for 1/2- isomer and 9/2+ g.s. for the decays of 131In activities. Comparison with previous experimental results.
