High-spin states in the semimagic nucleus 89Y and neutron-core excitations in the N=50 isotones

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 82Se(11B, 4n), E=48, 52 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γ(θ)(ADO ratios) at HI-13 tandem accelerator of CIAE-Beijing. 89Y; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarity, configurations. Comparison with large-basis shell-model calculations using OXBASH code, assuming 66Ni as an inert core. Level energy and Jπ systematics of N=50 even-even and odd-A isotones: 86Kr, 88Sr, 90Zr, 92Mo, 87Rb, 89Y, 91Nb and 93Tc.

Comparison with triaxial relativistic mean-field, and particle-rotor model calculations for high-spin isomers. Level systematics of 118,119,120Sb.

Total Routhian surface (TRS) calculations. Systematics of level energies, staggering parameter, B(M1)/B(E2) ratios, kinematic moments of inertial for bands in 98,100Tc, 104,106Rh, 106,108Ag, and comparison with behavior of chiral partner bands.
