High-spin states of ²⁰⁴At: isomeric states and shears band structure

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁹⁷Au(¹²C, 5n)²⁰⁴At, E=65, 75 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ)(DCO), γγ(linar polarization), isomer T_1/2 using INGA array of 15 HPGe cluster detectors at the BARC-TIFR Pelletron-Linac facility. ²⁰⁴At; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarities, B(M1)/B(E2), configurations, bands, magnetic-rotational (shears) band. Comparison with principal axis cranking (SPAC) model calculations.
